Check out this brightly colored Bolete demonstrating some interesting chemistry. As far as I can tell, this is #Lanmaopseudosensibilis, formerly known as #Boletuspseudosensibilis. This is a mycorrhizal Bolete that associates with oaks in upland hardwood forests. It has a reddish brown cap, a yellow pore surface that stains blue, a yellow stipe with red blush, turns blue with moderate intensity.
