My all time favorite sourdough discard bread recipe. My family gives this ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. Traditional sourdough takes around 24 hours from start to finish (sometimes longer). This bread takes about 6 hours and 5 of those hours are resting/rising/baking. So minimal effort. Seems like a lot, but not compared to it's fully active counterpart. Easy, quick, so tasty!! 1/2 cup cold butter, grated 1 cup sourdough discard 1/3 cup whole milk 1 tbsp honey 2 cups all-purpose flour 1 tbsp baking powder 1/2 tsp salt 1.
