In this episode of ‘Can Rit Dye…’ we’re dyeing our sunnies 😎 Here are some of our findings from this very quick experiment 🤓 👉 Nylon-based plastics dye the best 🧪 👉 Rit DyeMore works best using the stove top method but given that plastics can warp at higher temperatures, we used a heat-safe glass container with hot water from the kettle. 👉 If possible, pop the frames out prior to dyeing and place them back in after dyeing What should we try dyeing next? #summerdiy #ritdye #diyfashion #sung
