Let’s have a wander around the Bishop’s Palace in Wells, Somerset, which is situated adjacent to Wells Cathedral. It dates from the early thirteenth century and has been home to the Bishops of Bath and Wells for over 800 years. Visitors can still see the original palace built for Bishop Jocelin, as well as the stunning vaulted Undercroft and episcopal chapel built in the late thirteenth century.
