A Broken Prayer

I want to be a triplet! These girls never cease to amaze me. I went to collect Etta and Amelie from school yesterday. @daddy_to_triplets_and_bro had collected Bertie at lunchtime to take her to see her cardiologist in Birmingham (they’re on their way home now). As we made our way out of the school gates I heard this little voice say “Mummy, I miss Bertie”. And then I realised Amelie was crying which I didn’t film. But I did catch the tail end of Etta comforting her, and said I’d send it to Berti

At Felix’s leaving assembly in July, there was a gallery of self portraits and I did not guess that this one was his! I got it totally wrong, but his sister’s reaction to his self portrait had me 🤭 and it’s one of these little moments to record forever! Amelie’s so polite and encouraging. Etta and Bertie are a bit more direct 😆 Felix takes it all in his stride though. I don’t think he was in the slightest bit bothered what anyone thinks of his self portrait!
