Raw living food for snakes. A frog leapt past me at speed, closely followed by this metre long snake holding it's head about 15 cms above ground. The frog vanished from sight in the lush maní rastrero but the snake was determined to catch it's lunch. Sniffing with it's tongue, the snake eventually found the frog which suddenly leapt up and vanished into a clump of citronella, snake in hot pursuit. A lovely, tenderized meal for a hungry snake.
