Jasper National Park has been dealing with the Chetamon mountain fire since September 1st. The fire is not threatening any communities, but I’d knocked out power to the town, which meant closing most services to tourists. Thanks to the efforts of the firefighting crews and utility workers, power has been restored and visitors are now being welcomed back to Jasper.
