A judge this week issued suspended sentences for Alexandra Eckersley, the daughter of Baseball Hall of Famer Dennis Eckersley who was accused of abandoning her newborn son in the woods near Manchester and later convicted on some charges at a trial. Judge Amy Messer said the goals of punishment, deterrence and rehabilitation were best served if Eckersley had sentences that guaranteed she continue her mental health and substance abuse treatment. #alexandraeckersley #nh #newhampshire #manchesternh
