When I first started personal training back in 2007, I would teach all of my clients to move in a very hip dominant way to counteract all of the “quad dominance” and “glute amnesia” people kept talking about. It wasn’t until later that I realized they were made up buzzword terms that should be understood but not a one size fits all approach.
