Phrases I had never heard before 2024 for $100 Alex… “Veal crate”. I saw this on one of my posts and literally had to look it up. The purpose of this calf hut is to protect the calf from the elements, and keep the calves separate during feeding times so they all get equal amounts of milk or feed. It has nothing to do with keeping the calves lean so they can be butchered for veal. We DO eat our cows. This calf in particular went back to our neighbor to become a part of their breeding herd.
