Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is a common hormonal condition that affects women of reproductive age. It's characterized: irregular periods, excess androgens (male hormone), polycystic ovaries, infertility, weight gain, etc. PCOD is a milder version, doesn't affect fertility, and easily reversible.
