Many meds don’t have these side effects. And everyone is affected by each med differently. Just because you’ve heard some bad things about a medicine does NOT mean that will happen to you. I’m currently going off Olanzapine because it had TOO many problems… 20 pound weight gain was fine but the hair loss was the last straw for me 😱 Immediately no. There are other antipsychotics I can take to replace Olanzapine! So it isn’t a big deal. Seroquel doesn’t make me gain weight, but Olanzapine does. L
