EPIC MARLIN FISHING!

We just had the ultimate battle with a massive black marlin! Hooked it with live bait on a 300-pound test line, using a 50 Shimano Talica reel, and an 09 circular hook. The water was a perfect 85 degrees, just what we needed. After an epic 3-hour fight, we finally got this beast to the boat, only to let it swim away stronger than ever. Day 12 dawn. Marlin Fishing has been slow and the weather challenging last few days, but that’s fishing. Boys having fun each morning off the 150, @1_big_jarhead is picking on a nice Jack here on light tackle before the release. Every morning it’s been wide open on multiple species.
