In letterpress printing, a compositor (also known as a typesetter) is setting type upside down and left to right. However, many of the letters look very similar to each other. It is best to focus on the task at hand. The order from left to right in the galley tray at the beginning is red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple. Some of the inks are oil base and some are rubber base.
