We’re saddened to report we responded to a dolphin who died due to a line entanglement last week. This was a tragic end to this young dolphin’s life. We retrieved 320 ft (weighing 27lbs) of weighted line off this animal. We couldn’t determine if this was a “ghost” line (abandoned at some point) or recently cut from a crab pot.
