Strawberry season isn’t over for us until the strawberry plants are covered for the winter. We wait until the plants are dormant before we cover them with straw to protect them from cold temperatures. Ideally, the ground has some frost in it before we do this job so we don’t make a mess of our fields with our equipment. We are sad the growing season is over, but we’re looking forward to and planning for next year’s harvest. Keep following us for more information about strawberry season 2024! . .
