GLUTE FOCUSED BULGARIAN SPLIT SQUATS: This is what worked for me! The biggest tip above anything else is try to out different methods that work for you! My top tips: 1️⃣ Lean your torso forward. This creates a smaller angle between your front working leg and torso which elongates your glute muscle as it works. 2️⃣ As you squat down and up make sure it’s along an angle like an EScalator 📐 not like an elevator going up and down. 3️⃣ Foot positioning *slightly* farther from the bench can help also

I'm personally not the biggest fan of split squats while trying to target the quads. This is because there are plenty of other quad exercises that feel a bit more stable and comfortable for me. Driving my knee forward on split squats doesn't feel the most natural but sitting back and focusing on my glutes does. So I use it for my glutes from time to time. My go to quad exercises are most squat variations (barbell/hack), leg presses, & leg extensions. This is a great example that no exercise is “
