The Shag (variation) ⬇️ Here’s a variation of the Shag. In this variation I hold and cut the fringe at a lower elevation for a heavier feeling around the edge. I then use the fringe length to frame the face to the exterior length. I finally layer the interior by using the length at the apex cutting a flat line from front to back (more layers) lifting each section up to the ceiling. If you’re contemplating a shag haircut and have stick straight hair like me- just know that “straight isn’t going to be the vibe!” In my opinion- a textured cut like this needs wave so you can enjoy all the movement and volume it has to offer! I used the Le Vogue to wave the bottom 2 sections and the 25mm Le Clip to curl the top!
