Marine Attack Squadron (VMA) 22

Originally commissioned in May of 1942 the VMA-223 Bulldogs have flown a number of different airframes including the F2A Buffalo, F4FWildcat, F4U Corsair, F9F Panther, FJ-4B Fury, A4 Skyhawk and finally the AV-8B Harrier II.
