We’ve been working on a new report taking a deeper look at VMware vSAN ESA. We started out pretty excited to see how the simplified architecture would work and were not let down as we tested multiple RAID and drive configs. We used 4x Dell PowerEdge R6625 1U AMD servers, 32x WD SN655 NVMe SSDs, and a 100GbE fabric. Here’s a video of all the clicks as those SSDs get to work!
