This poem is about finding depression comforting or at least the feeling of it. It is about wanting to let yourself spiral in the comfort of depressions arms. There’s a toxic love with depression. wanting to be sick, getting so comfortable you don’t want to leave depression, etc. Finding depression comforting is like an abusive relationship. In no way am I saying all men are abusive by using the gender. I personified it as a man because personally it’s presence is very masculine to me. Although
