Only a handful of diamonds were found in a year. Sadly, this mine closed in 2020 as it could not find enough diamonds. The primary source of pink diamonds was thus closed down.. making the pink diamonds even more rare and expensive. Pink diamonds are still found in mines of South Africa, Brazil, Tanzania and Russia.
