My monstera grows all year round. But there is nothing wrong even if your monstera doesn't do that. It depends on the environmental conditions in your home. It might also need to be repotted or fertilized.⠀ ⠀ My monstera is next to a south-west facing window, getting over 5,000 lux of bright indirect light most of the day and several hours of direct sun. On clear days, it gets direct sun from 11am until 3-4pm. I also have a grow light about 1.5 feet above it that's on between 8-12 hours per day.

Monstera propagation update - I took the 2 monstera cuttings⠀ and they have been in water, on a heat mat, in a south facing window for 5 weeks. The first cutting had one node and a large aerial root. As you can see, it grew nice roots out of the aerial root and started growing a new leaf out of the node. The growth in the video is the result of 5 weeks of wait, but the roots started growing after 2-3 weeks.⠀ ⠀ The other cutting hasn't produced any root growth yet, but is still alive. I'm patient

My top 7 monstera propagation tips🙂⠀ 1️⃣ Increase the amount of light - more light, more photosynthesis, better chances of rooting. Focus on bright indirect light, over 5,000 lux. A few hours of early morning direct sun is also fine.
