The Chinese Embassy has produced a documentary "Lee Kuan Yew and China's Reform and Opening-Up" to mark the 100th anniversary of Mr Lee Kuan Yew's birth. During this production, we have a strong feeling that Mr Lee has his unique insights on the Chinese language and the contemporary value of Confucianism inherited from it, and that what he is searching for is a philosophy of governance which is different from the West.
