Incline bench press is a great exercise to target the upper chest. However, if the angle of the bench is too high or too low you may not be targeting the upper chest as the exercise intends. If the bench is too low you will be targeting your lower chest fibers and if the bench angle is too high your anterior deltoid (shoulder) muscle may take over more!
