How I Sew Hems on Handwoven Towels… Yesterday I shared how I pinned hems, today is all about machine sewing them. I start about 1/2” in from the edge. My machine is a bit fancy and does a knot (not necessary). Then I reverse stitch back to the absolute beginning and give a gentle nudge to the fabric to sew over the bulk going forwards again. The main sewing part was awkward .. I was sewing while looking through the camera and straddling the tripod … how on earth do people record these things 😅
