Not the typical morning routine… give meds, set up trach care, do GJ tube care, unhook tpn and lipid, flush and hep lock and lastly treatments and somewhere in between all of that I make myself coffee, draw up meds for the next morning and possibly do my makeup. I do the same thing every single day, might be boring to others but it’s my everyday routine. Even after after the GJ tube was put in, unfortunately my son puked 4x back to back. It was a clear liquid so I’m not sure what that means. At least it wasn’t his food. Won’t lie, it’s pretty upsetting. We want him to get stronger. He’ll be 15 months in a couple days and he still doesn’t have the strength to hold his head up, roll over, etc., I wish nothing, but progress for my son. Some say at least he’s there with you, but we have always worried about his quality of life. We have never just wa

So last evening when Ares needed his GJ tube changed they decided to admit him since they had no one available to do the procedure. I mean, it’s a children’s hospital so you think they would have someone available for this, but let’s keep pretending the world works the way you want it to. Lol. He’s obviously in good hands and should be home later today. I took care of the Logie Bear and mama took the Hair Bear to the hospital. All is well tho, at least we got good sleep last night. 🤪🤪🤪 W
