Maple Update: Maple’s spine is badly broken and she’s in severe pain. She still has feeling in her legs and with her weight, the spinal cord will eventually sever. Dr. Hanna at the emergency clinic said that this is worse than paralysis. 😭 She doesn’t see this being a case where she will overcome the injury and be a happy paraplegic dog. She will suffer immensely. We wanted to still try and save her if we could and that’s why we seek donations — because we never know what the tests will show us
