2010年12月24日 · Dukw Hello, I would suggest buying a DUKW if you can find one in good condition. The hull is the most important thing to look at. Most DUKW's are stored outside and the weather can be hard on the hull. I bought my DUKW 20 years ago and it has been the funest MV I have ever owned. I am lucky I live close to 2 rivers that I go out in quite a bit.

You will need the serial number of your DUKW and the serial numbers closest to what you have in the registry (above and below), then look at the registration numbers of those vehicles. 2016年2月27日 · There is no DUKW forum on SS that I know of, so here I am. Looking for a set of drawings for the DUKW that shows the struts, skin plates, and all of the structure. A CAD file would be best, but I doubt any have been made. Restoring one and some of the lower structure needs replacing or is flat...

2022年5月12日 · I recently picked up a DUKW boat that was used by a tour company for a couple years. I’m not sure if this is classified as a DUKW boat a fake duck boat a tourist duck boat or what. it’s titled as a 1944 and it looks like it was converted into the tourist version in 2012 by a company called advanced amphibious designs out of Honolulu Hawaii.

2011年9月12日 · Hi anyone have a source for a transfer case for a DUKW closer than the UK? Mine has a crack in the case and the two shafts that come out of the top are very loose. I thought it was the U joints but the seals and bearings on the top shaft are worn so bad it has about an inch of play. Thanks Eddy

2013年10月1日 · Don't be knocking the oil filter. They come in two kinds: full-flow (what you're used to) and bypass (probably what the DUKW has). Full-flow oil filters had a lot of advertising hype behind them when they became common on engines in the 1950s. The oil path in a full-flow system is pump -> pressure relief valve -> filter -> bearings.
