2022年3月27日 · There is a moment that Ryota confesses to himself (inner voice) he is attracted to Yumeko. There are multiple instances of Yumeko being very happy with having Ryota as a friend. The writer likes to leave stuff not completely resolved though. It keeps the fans curious about the next chapter and allows room for headcanon.

2020年10月6日 · Sure, yumeko clearly cares about Ryota, and even blushes when he first "confessed" his feelings in S1E12 (I think), but she never shows any romantic feelings towards him. You could argue she's shown more affectionate to the women in the show more than she's shown Ryota. Romance just doesn't seem like a goal or even priority for Yumeko.

2020年12月1日 · The Yumeko/Ryota moments are always so wholesome, I love them so much! In the Kakegurui fandom I'm a multi shipper and it's sad that this relationship is so hated because it's het. Ryota has so much potential and he's literally a plot pillar and he's Yumeko's support.

2021年4月7日 · Ryota likes Yumeko however it's unclear if Yumeko feels the same or if its just platonic/ friendship. Mary and Ririka are mostly friends however I believe they have a lot of potential to become canon. I love the development that Ririka has in the manga, and I love the friendship they have.

2024年10月15日 · So like, I do think it’s an interesting dynamic how Yumeko & Ryota play off each other. Right now in the Manga I feel could possibly be real close to seeing Ryota get some core character development since Yumeko is acting so different. They keep pushing it off to focus on the match between Kirari, Ririka, and Mary or Sayaka and Bami debacle.

He seems to be the only one who is mentally sane not to take blind "Risks" in the series, as he is used to narrate the whole story, while he observes and acts as an eye-accessory witness to everyone. He's also very reliable, trustworthy and loyal to individuals like Yumeko and Mary.
