Apr 12, 2024 · I see two different plugs: the one for the YZ250F is a colder plug (LMAR9EJ) than the 250FX (LMAR8EJ). I've had the ECU flash done to correct the plug fouling issue (which wasn't really that big of an issue with the bike - still takes a second of holding start button to crank over).

Mar 25, 2010 · green antifreeze mixed 50/50 with water will work just fine. you can buy it premixed or you can buy it straight and mix it your self. a gallon of 50/50 is about half the cost of a gallon of straight because obviously you are buying half a gallon of antifreeze and half a gallon of water. don't ever mix orange and green antifreeze they will coagulate and cause all sorts of problems

The gains aren't necessarily offset by a loss at the other end, but with the HUGE increase in low-mid of the 290, I would stay away from the stage 1 and get the stage 2, or just do the 290 and call it good, the increase is probably more than you are expecting.

'assuming' will get you making expensive mistakes, stock OEM intake valves are Titanium, lapping them will remove a very thin hardened coating and make them wear out much faster.
