2020年11月27日 · This is a NSW Countrylink (now Trainlink) XPT, a design that is based off the British HST but with beefed up Budd carriages designed for Australia's harsher conditions.

NT25 Grafton Daylight XPT drops off the Harbour bridge into Milsons Point station due to trackwork being carried out between Strathfield and Hornsby on February 25th, 1996. NT-1 departs Strathfield into the sunset.

The New South Wales XPT (short for eXpress Passenger Train) is a class of diesel-powered passenger trains built by Comeng and ABB. Based on the British Rail-designed High Speed Train, each XPT set comprises two XP power cars in a push-pull configuration and, between them, between four and seven passenger carriages.

2011年9月27日 · Depending on day light saving time, the XPT departs from Brisbane at 7:30am and gets into Sydney at 21:06. It passes through the Hawkesbury region about 8pm so spring / summer is the time of year to go when the days are longer.

2007年4月28日 · Central doesn't have the layout to allow country trains, electric, XPT or Explorer's to over the bridge unless they use the suburban platforms. If there are track works on the line through Epping you will sometimes see Newcastle electrics use the bridge, but they use suburban platforms.
