May 17, 2019 · The event IDs I see giving "errors" are 411, 10016, and 1000, none of which seem to be related to the WMR headset based on very fast Google searching, but I know close to nothing about diagnosing errors from the Event Viewer. None of the errors are thrown repeatedly and they don't seem to appear from me unplugging/replugging the headset in.

Dec 21, 2020 · WMR knows when I have "removed" my headset -usually this means I have lifted it slightly off from my face. (to tilt the headset up to see a light switch, or use the keyboard for example) This is screwing things up with the mouse. It is automatically switching between desktop usage of the mouse and VR usage. Now, in theory -this sounds great.

Sep 12, 2019 · In Windows Mixed Reality portal when I connect my headset it shows me "Your headset is sleeping." with the option to wake the headset, no matter how many times I click the button it doesnt wake. I did find on reddit that there are multiple posts about this and one workaround is to restart explorer which does work.

I did have my new system with the WMR headset in the Insider program for about a month, just wasn't getting much out of that forum so I left, did a clean Win 10 install and the headset continues to function..
