I find the best match up, for me, is Jayce. His poke deals huge damage and you can maintain the wave without taking hits. If Volibear gap closes you just hit him with your E rinse and repeat. Eventually you'll start dealing enough damage to really give him a hard time. Jayce is also a great pick for all those annoying ranged top laners.

Darius, Garen, Illaoi, Ornn, Jax, Fiora, etc. There are a few weird ones Voli beats like Aatrox, but Voli is honestly just a cheese pick top. If you understand the matchup he's like a C-Tier pick at best, and way better in the jungle. The Fimbul/Insight build is also overrated.

2022年4月3日 · Volibear is a lane bully with an extremely strong early-game. He pretty much hard counters Irelia. If he wastes his cooldowns, you can all-in him, but that's just against a bad volibear. Camille is the best at short trades, so you have to play it really smart to beat him.

As a low diamond top player trying to main volibear here's some matchup specific counters. Darius - usually darius will go for the pull into q to get insured heal off, after which it might be difficult to trade. What you can do as voli is save ur q until he uses his q windup.

Volibear will increase in strength in the middle of the game, avoid going alone into areas with Volibear. To prevent Volibear from recovering and surviving in combat, use items or champions that cause grievous wounds. If you have little health left you should go home, volibear can fight under the tower. Strengths: Do lots of damage.

In season 10, before the item and Pantheon Reworks, Volibear was so strong against Pantheon that even when behing he could easily win if Pantheon didn't play perfectly, and late game, Pantheon didn't have a single chance.

Volibear does a shit ton of magic damage which Wukong has a really hard time against, im no Wukong player but this sounds like a farm matchup and wait for a big mistake kinda lane. One kill in toplane is not enough to get solo doved, you probably just played your trades badly and got low enough that he could do such a thing, but with Wukong CC ...

Real cc doesnt work too well since he gets most of his q cooldown refunded if he gets cced during his q. Its all about kiting his w stack. I used to main akali top and voli is by far one of the easiest matchups if you could avoid his second w either by using your dashes to create distance or using shroud until the w stack runs out.
