A good CELPIP score depends on the purpose of the test. For Canadian Permanent Residency, a score of 5 or higher in each component (Writing, Speaking, Listening & Reading) is required. To achieve a high score between levels 10-12, candidates must get 33-38 questions correct in each section. A score between 10-12 is equivalent to 9 bands in IELTS. The passing score varies based on Canadian immigration applications, with a minimum of 7 for each module.
