2014年3月5日 · I get far more complements on the W204 styling on a regular basis. I have a good eye for styling and the details on the W204 are very nicely done. . Reliability, like night and day. First year 2001 C240 W203 was pure crap both in warranty and out of warranty. First year 2008 C300 W204 has above average reliability, the car is solid.

2024年12月2日 · Hi, I own a W204, if you need any more details about my car after reading this, please let me know. Regularly, smoke is coming out of the exhaust and when I press the throttle down hard a lot of smoke comes out and it is black in colour.

2012年6月8日 · 1: You should follow the maintenance manual (08 says once at 39k, all other w204 after say every 39k...sooo i dont know what to listen to there, arent they the same transmission.) 2: Change your transmission fluid often or it will cause it to fail (basically like the first perspective only more so on the maintenance.)

2020年2月23日 · Various Mercs, like my W204 2007 model and also W207, W212, etc. suffer from not starting due to failure of a US$3.57 Chinese motor, which pushes the pin in and out for the lock of the steering. That repair then costs AUS$2,000 plus towing, great! A case of German over-engineering to lock the steering wheel as it is no longer done in later models.

2009年2月24日 · Since W204 has only been around for a few years, I am thinking it is too early too tell if Merc reliability has improved. Once the warranty starts expiring on people, this is where the real test will begin. As for myself - I had my C230 for just under a month and already had a problem with the power steering.

2007年8月20日 · The new interior in the W204 is a tie between the W203 Interior. The pop-up Navi is sick. Con is headrest in the rear will not go down. Also lack of room in the W204 in the rear vs W203 more room. Features of the W204 is definitley way better than the W203. I notice the handling of the car is much better than the W203. But thats about it.

My car's been misfiring for a while and did a lots of diagnosis by myself and fixed what needed to be. For example: By the moment when my car started misfiring I replaced every Spark Plugs as well as the Ignition Coils. Then the problem got away.
