Feb 27, 2016 · There are so many more W126 around (at least in my area) so finding used parts isn't as bad as for the W116. In my opinion, the W126 interior has more comfortable seats, plus you have the option to upgrade to interior stuff from the later model years. Things like Euro headlights and lots of the seals are cheaper/easier to find than the W116 ones.

Apr 4, 2006 · The w116 emerged from the w108, and was eventually replaced by the w126. It seems fair to say that each of these chassis had their place in the world, and each did things and solved problems that the other two chassis didn't.
