The Variety Boys & Girls Club (VBGC) is a safe environment for kids (ages 5 to 17 yrs.) and propels them to learn social skills, identify potential opportunities, as well as achieve personal, academic, athletic and other worthy goals.

Established in 1955, the Variety Boys & Girls Club of Queens (VBGCQ) is a nonprofit organization that inspires children to discover their passions and cultivate their futures through a diverse array of youth development programs.

The purpose of the VBGC is to stimulate and encourage the knowledge and love of gardening among amateurs, to aid in the protection of native plants and birds, to encourage conservation of our natural resources, to promote civic planting, and to help in the preservation and restoration of historic gardens.
