Oct 6, 2006 · Tial does not offer a 7psi spring with the Q BOV, only the old style 50mm. You want to run the lightest spring possible thats in your vacuum range. -8 to -11 in/HG use 6 PSI Spring (Black)

Jul 28, 2009 · I just installed a Tial Q BOV and noticed that it stays wide open on idle. Once I disconnect the vacuum line, it shuts close. It is still getting the stock vacuum from the intake manifold. I am also running a GM MAF post BOV. It currently has a 8 lb spring in there. I couldn't find a topic regarding this issue on the forums.

Just call Tial first, talk to them, see what they will say about running a lighter 7psi or 9 psi springs with an engine vacuum readings are for like 11psi spring and make up your mind. Before I had a little problem with my TIAL BOV, it was fluttering between shifts when I was at like part throttle/low boost/.

Dec 26, 2014 · The bov came from extremepsi and the MVS wastegate from punishment so I hope they're authentic. The bov has the a good o ring on the flange and it didn't look like there were any issues with the diaphram. Should I be using any Rtv on the wastegate fittings? I went with Tial to avoid leaks I don't know if I'm doing something wrong here.
