Oct 17, 2015 · I've just begun to consider acrylic spray deck for our pool build and was wondering if anyone has any recommendations for using a cantilevered edge vs precast concrete coping with the spray deck for the rest of the concrete? I've seen several pictures on here of the former, but none with spray deck and separate coping (of any kind.)

I can not afford to get kool deck or spray deck done by a company but the more I look at the process for applying spray deck the more I wonder why it could cost so much. Looks pretty simple. Just spray on and then trowel down like doing wall texture.

Jul 17, 2012 · Pool concrete deck approx 1200 sq ft. (4" thick slab, 3/8" rebar on 18" centers). Surface is coated with the drag texture "spray deck" and sealer. ITEM #1 Within one week hairline surface cracks have appeared; 5 cracks that run the approx 3' to 7' long. I know slab surface cracks are virutally unavoidable.
