If your TV supports "eARC" (via the HDMI-ARC port) then you should have no problem getting full quality audio, including Atmos, on the Sonos Arc soundbar. If your TV only supports "ARC" you will lose audio quality and Atmos on some of your devices.

Oct 25, 2024 · A soundbar cannot reproduce bass, its simple physics. You need a decently sized woofer to do that. Rears, you can really do that without having actual rears. To an extent all these channels that single soundbars (like the sonos or even the samsung) advertise is just that, an advertisement to get people to buy.

Another World 1st Full Audio & Atmos from any HDMI sources straight to SONOS eARC soundbar and well it sounds really good !

Dec 6, 2024 · I’m pondering getting this soundbar to enriches both our TV and radio music experience. My thinking is to see how I like it and CB probably get the bigger SW to go with it. Then I’ll consider the two wireless rear speakers. We have a large open living room with a Sony Bravia XR 65” OLED A95K TV. I would appreciate any comments. Thanks much.

Mar 29, 2018 · Sonos is really overpriced, and the HT-ST5000 is really just a 3.1.2 system in terms of how it actually functions. Get the HT-Z9F when it comes out in a few weeks. You get 5.1 and atmos/dts:x compatibility for $500 less than the Sonos setup. If you must get a soundbar TODAY, go with Bose.
