2011年2月10日 · My '05 SL500 used to give me that message if not driven for a couple of weeks but then, after 5-10 minutes of driving, I would get the "convenience functions available" message. After a five day trip to London the central locking wouldn't work and the "convenience functions" were unavailable even after 30 minutes of driving.

2002年4月17日 · My SL500 droops by about 1.5cm at the driver's side front wheel. Although that doesn't seem much, I can see when looking from the front that the whole car is slightly settled to the driver's side, and it bugs me.

2019年5月19日 · I have replaced all the cylinders on a 2003 SL500 and just the front lock cylinder only on a 2007 SL55 The front lock cylinder is the one that takes most of the time due to the longer hydraulic line runs. I would estimate that with the experience I have now that all the cylinders will take 8-12 hours and just the front alone 6-8 hours.

If you remove the black plastic rain cover (three self tapping screws) then the aluminium cover (four torx screws) this will expose the modules as shown in the photo in Bob's post.
