The location of Fort Dawnguard can only be accessed via Dayspring Canyon, North-Northeast of Stendarr's Beacon, marked by torches on either side of the entrance in the rock face just off the main path that leads to the border checkpoint southeast of Stendarr's Beacon. The initial path leads straight to a glacial waterfall overlooking a lake.
