I don't know whether it's the same on Windows 10 but after a ton of research I managed to get SimGolf (and a load of other old games) working on Windows 7 by enabling the secdrv.sys driver which was disabled by a Microsoft security update.

I have a CD of Simgolf that comes pre-equiped with the 1.03 patch and I've unzipped the file as specified. But the game is still crashing when I start a tour of 500k+ grand prize. Did I do something wrong or do I need patch 1.01 separately, or what? I've ran it in compatibility mode Windows 98/ME and not in it too. I have a Windows 7 computer.

Adding my support to see more EA games on GOG, be great to see classics like Need for Speed, Classic battlefields & Medal of Honour, Mass Effect & more Dragon Age on the site, would buy them so I can have a DRM free copy easily.
