It’s unlikely Adam was the only faunus marked with a brand so it’s possible that RWBY & Co could encounter others who are still affected by what the SDC has done to them and/or their families.

Undoubtedly it has practices that aren't nice, bordering on ammoral, and some that are straight up immoral. But it's clearly not evil, most of our heroes use SDC dust in their weapons, it powers everything in the world.

I think it would be reasonable to assume that the fall of SDC would heavily impact the Dust distribution and the economies of the rest of the kingdoms. SDC's supposed to be big and Dust - a much sought after resource.
