New mark IV target what ammo and red dot - Ruger Forum
Jan 12, 2023 · I do recommend this sight for your Mark IV due to the barrel mounted sight and low cost of the Cyelee, not sure about center fire handguns. I just got a Vortex Venom but after the first range trip its shooting about 4" low when the adjustments are maxed out. Saw this problem on the forums and have ordered a 1 degree shim from UT Tactical.
Are all Mark III & Mark IV magazines interchangeable? - Ruger …
May 28, 2021 · Mark III and IV mags both have the notch for the upper mag release. They will fit in some Mark II’s but, in mine, the notch snags on the frame. Mark I and II mags do not have the notch and therefore will not work in newer guns. I’m sure there’s others here that can give a more technically accurate answer.
Mark I - III vs IV - Ruger Forum
Oct 27, 2024 · The Mark IV’s I’ve handled seemed just as nice and are easier to field strip. I don’t have issues with disassembly of mine, but some do. There have been issues reported with the Mark IV; however, they seem limited and Ruger stands behind all their products, even if you’re not the original purchaser. Standard issue Mark II. All Ruger parts.
22/45 Mark IV magazine question - Ruger Forum
Feb 12, 2017 · The Mark IV manual states the Mark III magazines will fit the Mark IV. I believe they mean the non 22/45 Lite models. I just tried to insert a Mark III mag (22/45 Lite) into the Mark IV and they do not fit. The buttplate is too long in the back to fit in the grip frame.

Site adjustment on a new Mark 4 - Ruger Forum
Mar 25, 2016 · Just purchased a new Ruger Mark IV Hunter for plinking and target shooting. As most of you know, the M-4 has adjustable rear sights. The directions for adjustment in the owners manual is a bit lacking, to say the least. I have adjusted the rear sights as far as I can and it still shoots a tad high.
Mark 1,2,3 or 4. Whats the best of the bunch? - Ruger Forum
Dec 11, 2010 · Aside: I have had the RST-4 since the year it was made, 1968, got it at a local Wally World like store for the princely sum of $37.50(yep, the same price it went for until later that same year to $41.50). I remain amazed that Bill Ruger managed to hold that price stable for 19 years, that has to be some sort of record in the firearms industry.

More where a 1911 is and all other American pistols. Mark IV one button take down, easy peasy. Mark II takes a knack to disassemble and reassembly. I have had all three models in my life time, several times.
Mark IV vs Mark III - Ruger Forum
Dec 20, 2017 · Don't worry about the gun being accurate, at 71 it's mostly in the optics on the gun not the gun. Get a decent .22 gun (the Ruger Mark 3 or 4 should work just fine) then put your remaining money into a GOOD red dot optic or other optic. Trying to precisely line up front sight, rear sight, & target with 71 year old eyes is a great challenge.

That means their uncompressed length shrinks a little as they settle into their working length. Around 500 high velocity rounds is typically enough for this process to complete in mark pistols.
