The Rockford Peaches were a women's professional baseball team who played from 1943 to 1954 in the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League. A founding member, the team represented Rockford, Illinois.
The Real Rockford Peaches
The real Rockford Peaches were one of four teams to begin the league, and one of only two teams to remain in their home town for all twelve years in the league. Taking the pennant for most wins in a season three times, and winning the championship four times, the Peaches had the best league record. They were considered the best team in the AAGPBL!
