Sep 12, 2007 · I had an 03 yz 450 and sold it now I'm looking at an 07 RM (great rebates) and ther are no yz450's left around. I am not a racer nor brand loyal to anything but I did cherrish my YZ. OPINIONS PLEASE.

May 20, 2006 · Give this a try. when cold hold in the kill buton, kick gently without throttle about six times to get the oil up to the cams, pull choke, take your thumb off the kill button and give her a smooth hard kick still no throttle though, when she fires (1-3 kicks) give her a blip of throttle, warm it through and then turn off the choke. .

Dec 1, 2006 · We need to get a count of all the rmz 450's that have had a rod bearing problem and send it to suzuki! As I read all of these post and the one I started ('05 to 07") it is the same symptoms. As I posted i'm rebuilding mine too, $ 1700.00 to do the job. suzuki knows of this problem and refuses to do anything about it.
