Unless you are using Aeroquip hose with Aeroquip fittings, Gates hose with Gates fittings, Parker hose with Parker fittings, you won't get a true match of mfg, so that argument is out the window. There are a few part #'s in the push lock world that carry a 300degree rating.

2010年5月9日 · I just plumbed my whole car with Russels Twist lok hose on Jegs push lock fittings. The #10 was a snap. I used a small piece of Jegs #8 on the return. They say its not for fuel, but guys are using it so I was curious. I will be replacing it soon, it already feels like an old radiator hose. It also went together easy though.

2022年4月9日 · Bought a set of valve covers and I'm going to have -12 fittings welded into them and I need to run a hose from the valve cover to the header. I dont see any -12 hose end to 5/8 or -10 hose barbs. If there were, I could just run a hose from the hose end at the valve cover straight onto the 5/8 nipple on the check valve and clamp it.

2010年7月8日 · All of our Push Lok hose comes from Parker. But it does not carry an SAE “R” designation, (It is not a low permeation fuel hose). Typically most of our customers get 5-10 years life expectancy out of this hose using todays pump gas. And it has a tendency to permeate some of the gas smell through the hose.

2012年5月7日 · If it were me I would run aluminum tubing for the main length. Any hose is going to deteriorate eventually, so the tubing is both lighter and less that needs replacing periodically. I was very shocked to speak to an engineer at Russell and ask how many years to expect the braided stainless to last. He said 3-5 years.

If you're using the proper push-lok hose and fittings it will fail faster/sooner with clamps than w/o.
