Jan 8, 2017 · Heaters are cheap so repairs are not common. Plus, the manufacturers resist any DIY repairs on their products for safety reasons. Usually, these heaters completely die from the overheat switch going open and you would be done unless you had a replacement part. That could happen to you if the thermostat lets the heater run-away as it is doing.

Jan 2, 2020 · Anyone else bought this model this year? Mine is no more than 2 months old and just after 10 minutes on high, the cord and plug gets hot to the touch. I also have the Presto Heat dish I have used for hours on end on high and the cord never gets warm. Just a warning that this heater is a fire hazard.

I tried to order a rotary cutter and have it shipped to me in California. I was told by the customer service person that they couldn’t ship it to California because they didn’t have the Prop 65 warning label on it.

Oct 28, 2021 · I've had 1 for years, in the NE US. I keep the thermostat really low in the winter, and used this for 1 large room. I think it gets too warm in the room. I also have used a faux fireplace heater and a tower heater. Out of all 3, I prefer the tower heater.
